Apply to Train with Infinity Dogs

We’re so excited that you’re interested in joining our programme.

We’re a small, neurodivergent-led team. Our next training group starts in January 2026.

Our Application Steps

There are 5 stages to joining our programme:

Tell us you’re interested (Expression of Interest)
Have a quick phone chat with us (Phone Interview)
Fill in the full application form
Come to an in-person assessment day (Welfare, Training and Behaviour)
Get a signed form from your vet (Vet Attestation)

If you pass all 5 stages, you’ll join our onboarding:

First, you’ll do online onboarding and a digital induction
Then, you’ll attend an in-person induction

Timeline (this might change slightly)

By 1 October – We’ll tell you if you’ve made it to the full application form
By 1 November – You’ll either attend or be invited to the in-person assessment day
By 1 December – We’ll let you know if you’re successful, collect vet forms, and confirm your place
First week of December – Digital onboarding and induction
Early January – In-person induction
Mid-January – Training begins

Training will take at least 12 months, and no dog will qualify before they are 18 months old.

Have you and your dog taken part in any training? *

I can confirm my dog has never, is not, and will never be trained in any bitework or protection activity, whether for sport, demonstrating purposes, working roles or just for fun. *

I understand if I want to compete in dog sports or dog activities I must work my dog on non aversive equipment or equipment that has absolutely no potential to tighten. I understand no exceptions will be made, even for gun dog or showing. *

Have you read and agree to our equipment and dog/handler welfare policies? (These are non negotiable and we are strict adherers to force free, LIFE based protocols) *

Yes - I agree that I do not use ANY aversive methods or equipment. I understand the only acceptable equipment is a non tightening harness and/or flat collar. We will encourage you to only use your collar for ID wherever possible. This includes no headcollars, limited slip leads or martingales.

I understand and accept my dog cannot be a bull breed or a brachy breed and will not ask Infinity Dogs CIC to make an exception to this rule. *

I understand Infinity Dogs CIC cannot reply to every unsuccessful application individually and no exceptions will be made for this. *

I understand that to qualify with Infinity Dogs CIC my dog will need to learn at least 5 tasks. *

Have you ever trained with an Assistance Dog organisation, trainer or group? Please confirm you must be released from any other Assistance Dog organisations, trainers or groups. *

Have you ever had to retake any Assistance Dog Assessment, including intake, training stages, public access tests or re qualifications? *

Have you ever had to stop public access training for behavioural reasons? (This will not necessarily count against you if you are honest!) *

Have you ever been told to withdraw from public access for more than 3 months, been disciplined by a previous organisation or expelled/asked to leave? *

Has your dog ever shown signs of reactivity? You will be expected to work in extremely close contact with several other Assistance Dog In Training Partnerships. *

Has your dog ever bitten another dog? *

Has your dog ever bitten another person? *

Has your dog ever shown signs of inappropriate resource guarding? (Will they share treats, toys, space and people with another humans and other dogs?) *

Is your dog showing significant signs of poo eating? *

Is your dog currently showing signs of separation anxiety? Can you leave your dog if over 9 months old for at least 30 minutes, and if between 6-9 months at least 10? If your puppy is under 6 months, will they cope if someone else held them for 30 secs? *

I understand that lack of responsible, active handling will result in being asked to leave Infinity Dogs CIC. *

I can confirm my dog is not scared of the vast majority of everyday sounds *

I understand that Infinity Dogs CIC have a strict anti bullying policy and I will not partake in any fake shaming activities. *

I understand that Infinity Dogs CIC is a supported owner training organisation, and we cannot train your dog for you. *

I agree that, if successful, I will train in person with Infinity Dogs averaging at least 5 hours a month, We will encourage you to do much more. *

I understand that if mobility tasks are needed if successful, we MAY ask for clearance in addition to Vet Attestation including Vet Physio and/or Hip/Elbow scoring. *
