Our training really does make a difference – see what our clients have to say

Ruby and her small team have amazing knowledge (all force-free and neurodivergent friendly) and huge hearts and passion. Both humans and dogs get individual care and attention in everything from personalised sessions/training to admin. Ruby is extremely accommodating, not that much accommodating is needed because she already offers such an easy inclusive environment. However, nothing is ever an issue, and team work, honesty and care for humans and their canine partners is just a basic, non negotiable.

Infinity dogs has been absolutely perfect for my young lab and her Assistance Dog training. Ruby is excellent at problem solving and coming up with weird and wonderful ways to combat the behavioural issues thrown at us thanks to the beauty of adolescence whilst making sure my dogs welfare and happiness is the number one priority. Outside of Assistance Dog training, her trick training workshops have been an amazing confidence booster for my older Labrador who has struggled with anxiety and sensitivity, and I can’t believe how his confidence has grown in all aspects of his life!
As well as this it’s always good fun to train with her and other like-minded people in a judgement free environment, because at the end of the day no dog is perfect and they’re all a little ‘quirky’ in their own ways!

Meeting Ruby from Infinity Dogs was the key that unlocked the door to my independence. I had become a recluse and not left the house in over two years. Ruby knew how to put me at ease and helped me to train Wilma to become my assistance dog. Wilma even came to hospital with me when I gave birth – without her I wouldn’t have had the confidence to have a baby or even to engage with medical appointments. I now live my life as a confident mother and feel safe and am forever grateful to Ruby for saving my life.

Nobody at Infinity Dogs judged me. I only ever felt supported and cared for. I have complex health conditions being disabled, I sometimes felt invisible. Having Archie has given me a purpose, gives me confidence, makes me feel safe and I can see a future.

I've never had friends so neither has my dog. At Infinity Dogs we're both with friends. I think we’ll all be friends for life.

When previously my OCD tendencies and multiple debilitating symptoms left me bed bound, Robin gives me an extra motivation and focus. We work as a team to ensure both of us are happy, and mum, who has had to do a lot of ‘caring’ now, feels I am safer. For example Robin is learning to alert to seizures and knows when I am struggling, whether it’s physical health or my OCD tendencies. I have more independence now; being able to access social events and uni with Robin means I have that warning and when my health does decline quickly, I have her with me to keep me safe.

Without my dog I never went out or took notice of people or the world around me. Having my dog makes me feel as though I’m seeing the world through new eyes.

We started training Ronnie at 16 weeks, before I was diagnosed. He has brought so much to the family. He helps me and Fred daily. He has had a significant impact on our lives – I’m able to listen to him as he is able to give warning to both of our medical episodes, despite originally just training for my son. It’s hard, stay committed, don’t beat yourself up. Keep going!

I'm neurodivergent, have PTSD and extreme anxiety. At Infinity Dogs we had an NHS training day with a walk around a hospital and a ride in an ambulance – it was great fun, but more importantly was so useful.
A few weeks later I had to go to hospital and I was so less anxious as my dog Katy was relaxed with the various sounds and smells, which was a huge relief to me. I know now that in an emergency I can get the help I need without the need of a support worker.

I didn’t like or want to go anywhere and if I did I had to have someone with me as I had no confidence and was worried what would happen if I fell or passed out. Having my dog with me has given me the freedom to start going out again and living a little better quality of life. As it’s still at the beginning of our training I don’t push him to do everything he will be doing in another 8 months time. Go for it and embrace the new chapter of your life!

Before having Infinity Dogs CIC to bounce ideas off, the AD world could be quite scary. I’m much more confident and being able to help others is a huge bonus. It is light in a rather dark world. ID is a safe space where you will be supported and heard. Go for it!!

Ruby is a such a ‘dogs’ dog trainer. She always manages to get my dogs engaged and working, she also teaches me to be a better handler; ensuring I’m getting the same level of engagement from my dogs long after the workshop or training day is done.
She sees each partnership as they are and caters her challenges to match their level, I can’t count how many times she has forced me to challenge myself in order to match my dog's potential.
She accommodates all dogs and handlers, regardless of needs and requirements, and does it with a kindness and ease that ensures your ‘problem’ isn’t made to feel like a hindrance or burden.
Her workshops are always fun, filled with laughter, and focused on getting the most for your dog.

I have trained with Ruby a few times and have always had a great time and always learned far more than I have expected I would.
Ruby’s teaching style is unrepentantly inclusive both for people and dogs as long as the welfare of the dog is put first. It is a joyous thing to go to a workshop where high performing sports dogs are welcomed in the same way as reactive rescue dogs, and the same amount of care and focus is given for them to have the best experience possible. The noise levels changing from loud excited laughter and shouting, to absolute silence and stillness as we are all watching a nervous dog learn to trust and engage with a new human.
I have recently begun Assistance Dog training with Infinity Dogs, and have seen how that care transfers to ensuring the best quality training possible for the humans involved too. Ruby and her team seem to take every challenge or obstacle as a means to find a new and creative way to move forwards, embracing people's talents whilst respecting their limitations.
I feel very lucky to get to train with and be part of the Infinity Dogs family, it is one of the best decisions I have made.
Eva
I have seen a multitude of trainers over the years and Ruby at Infinity Dogs outshines them all. Infinity Dogs approach makes it fun for both the dog and their guardian.
Ruby is able to see the most tiny details of mechanics to get the most out of your dog, in the shortest time without using any fear or intimidation.
All the dogs who work with Ruby know they will be having fun and it creates a dog who’s super eager to train which is ideal for an Assistance Dog as they so are motivated.
The training is very inclusive. I have ADHD and can struggle with following instructions, this has made training with other people very difficult but Ruby has always had a world of patience and never minds explaining things in a different way until I’m able to understand. Since training with Ruby I have become so much more confident.
I have seen several examples of modifications to training to support others needs as well, both human and dog! Nothing has ever been to much to ask, Infinity Dogs is a very supportive CIC.
Ruby has done so much CPD to back up her qualifications and knowledge and it really shows during training. It is very clear that Infinity Dogs is a CIC aimed at supporting the welfare of dogs as much as their humans.
Claire Summers
Ruby is a fantastic teacher, really easy to talk to and ask questions, any questions, which is bliss. She cares about your abilities and needs as well as your dogs too. Her workshops are great fun and full of knowledge.

I have nothing but admiration for the work of Ruby and the Infinity Dogs team. I am a Certified Animal Behaviourist with a large educational platform that seeks to promote the very latest in the understanding of the physical and emotional experience of dogs and the humans who care for them. With a human psychology background, I put a focus on the emotional and social safety of both human and dog.
So this is why I am so supportive of what Infinity Dogs are doing in their mission to ensure both ends of the lead are supported with regard to physical, emotional and social safety. Emotional wellbeing really does matter, and it is better to find ways that caters for both the humans and the dog’s needs, whilst ensuring the very best supportive relationship can be created. This lies at the heart of what Ruby and the team seek to do. I have had the privilege of spending time with Ruby on my platforms, and in person at various events, and I am fully supportive of her mission.
It is my belief they are providing a gold standard approach to Assistance Dog training, support and advocacy, which I can only hope can be adopted more widely within a sector that is still widely unregulated.
