At Infinity Dogs CIC, we understand that once they have been adequately prepared, the most effective approach to training our Assistance Dogs is through real-world experiences and learning in authentic scenarios alongside their handlers. This is why we place great emphasis on collaborating with and fostering strong working relationships with service providers.

Working closely with healthcare providers and commercial partners, we offer sessions in diverse settings – from ambulance rides and medical facilities to public spaces, theme parks and visitor attractions. Weve even taken part in flight simulation experiences with leading international airlines!

If you are a service provider interested in contributing your premises and/or staff for the purpose of real-world scenario-based training for these remarkable, life-changing dogs, please kindly get in touch using our contact form.

Working with the NHS

An Assistance Dog can be a great help in potentially stressful situations such as healthcare visits, so we work closely with the NHS to make this easier for everyone. We practice going in an ambulance and attending medical appointments, and work with other public bodies like the Fire Service. This training really works: handlers on our Assistance Dog Programme feel more confident in accessing services, thanks to training with us.

Commercial Flights and Flight Simulators

We are fortunate to be able to hold training sessions using the Jetex Flight Simulator in Somerset, and have enabled some of our Assistance Dogs and their handlers to take commercial flights - Koda enjoyed flying on British Airways with her handler Mei, and even got to meet the crew on the flight deck!

Theme Parks and Cinemas

Visits to busy leisure spaces like theme parks and cinemas are a regular part of our training opportunities: Thorpe Park, Legoland, Cotswold Wildlife Park. Chessington World of Adventures…Scenario-based training builds the confidence of Assistance Dog and handler partnerships, and enables our handlers to live a more independent life: our handlers are able to reduce the amount of human carers they need at any one time due to training up their own Assistance Dog with us.

Madame Tussauds

We have a great relationship with Madame Tussauds, and they were the first-ever recipient of our Assistance Dog Educated title, recognising their unparalleled commitment to accessibility and inclusivity

National Space Centre

Visting a major attraction such as the National Space Centre in Leicester not only provides a fun day out, but it helps our Assistance Dog partnerships to feel more comfortable going out to public spaces. A fun day out does wonders for our mental health: handlers say their mental health has improved since training with us

Gatwick Aviation Museum

These visits are not only good for our mental health - getting out and about also boosts physical wellbeing: many of our Assistance Dog partnerships have reported their physical health has improved
