Welcome to Infinity Dogs

We are a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to empowering disabled individuals by helping them train their own Assistance Dogs. Our mission extends to offering specialised, accessible training in dog sports and activities, creating a space where everyone can fully engage and thrive.

We are committed to responsible dog ownership and force-free, progressive training. We believe in building trust and mutual respect between dogs and their handlers.

Rooted in the social model of disability, we foster a community that celebrates disabled individuals in the dog world. Our environment promotes acceptance and safety, encouraging everyone to be themselves without judgment. We proudly maintain a strict Anti-Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) policy for our neurodivergent clients, ensuring that our practices align with their needs and values.

Meet Ruby...

Our founder and director, Ruby Welsford, is an openly Autistic Force-Free Dog Trainer based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

She has a wealth of experience and qualifications in dog training, and is a trainer/member of several reputable force-free dog training organisations.

She is the founder and head instructor of the UK Disc Dog Association, and the first to judge a world cup qualifier in the UK.

Ruby and her small team have amazing knowledge (all force-free and neurodivergent friendly) and huge hearts and passion. Both humans and dogs get individual care and attention in everything from personalised sessions/training to admin. Ruby is extremely accommodating, not that much accommodating is needed because she already offers such an easy inclusive environment. However, nothing is ever an issue, and team work, honesty and care for humans and their canine partners is just a basic, non negotiable.

Award Winning
Assistance Dog Training

Our Assistance Dog Programme is unique in that we support owner training for ALL KINDS of disabilities.

We believe everyone deserves the joy of a well trained dog, regardless of their disability status. We’ll assist where possible, prioritising autistic/neurodivergent individuals over 8 and those with complex disabilities.

We take your dog’s needs seriously so we can meet yours

We are 100% committed to only using force-free training methods.

We train in various settings, including private venues, public areas, scenario-based training, and in-home support. Our thorough application process ensures that we are the best fit for you and your potential Assistance Dog. The only Assistance Dog training we do not provide is for clients who have sight loss as their only disability, and training for anaphylactic allergen detection.

We are proud to be different from most Assistance Dog organisations and dog sport schools, and we hope to continue to make a positive impact in the lives of disabled individuals and their dogs.

Dog and Client Welfare

At Infinity Dogs CIC, we prioritise the welfare and wellbeing of dogs and clients, ensuring a safe, positive, and respectful environment in all our programmes and services.

When it comes to dogs, we believe in utilising force-free training methods that prioritise their physical and emotional welfare. We understand that dogs are sentient beings with unique personalities and needs. Therefore we strive to create training programmes that are tailored to the individual dog, taking into account their temperament, history, and specific requirements. Our trainers focus on building trust and fostering positive relationships, to enhance the bond between dogs and their owners.

Equally important to us is the welfare of our clients. We recognise that our clients come to us seeking assistance and support, often during challenging times. Our compassionate and understanding approach ensures that our clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their journey with us. We strive to create a supportive community where clients can find solace, guidance, and encouragement.

To maintain the highest standards of welfare, we continuously invest in professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in dog training. We believe in the importance of ongoing education, as it allows us to provide the best possible care for both dogs and clients.

In summary, at Infinity Dogs CIC we are dedicated to promoting the welfare of dogs and clients alike. Through force-free training methods, a personalised approach and a supportive community, we aim to create a positive and enriching experience for all involved.

We do not take on breeds that are considered illegal, nor any bull breeds and do not recommend brachycephalic breeds – read more here

Ruby is a fantastic teacher, really easy to talk to and ask questions, any questions, which is bliss. She cares about your abilities and needs as well as your dog’s too.

Her workshops are great fun and full of knowledge.
