Terms & Conditions of Membership
Welcome to the Infinity Dogs CIC Assistance Dog Programme! We are thrilled to have you as a member of our program. Please take a moment to carefully read and understand the terms and conditions of membership outlined below. These guidelines, expectations, and important information will serve as the foundation for our partnership.
1. Respectful Behavior: As a member of the Infinity Dogs CIC Assistance Dog Program, you agree to always conduct yourself with respect and professionalism. We strictly prohibit any form of abuse, bullying, or publicly humiliating other partnerships. It is important to treat all fellow members and their dogs with kindness and respect.
2. Strictly Force-Free Training Methods: We prioritize the use of positive reinforcement training methods and strictly prohibit the use of any force-based techniques. As a member, you agree to only use force-free training techniques and gear, both during training sessions and in everyday life, including when your dog is not wearing the assistance dog jacket. This ensures the wellbeing and positive development of the dogs in our program.
3. Vet Attestation: As a member, you are required to provide a vet attestation for your dog at least one month before you start your training. This attestation ensures that your dog is in good health and suitable for the assistance dog training program.
4. Training Duration and Fees: Our training program lasts for a minimum of six months, at a cost of £35 per month. To participate, you are asked to pay at least three months up front (a payment of £105) two weeks before your induction day, with as second payment of £105 due three months later. Thereafter, training fees of £35 per month are to be paid at the start of each month. Alternatively, you have the option to pay the total amount of £210 in advance. We can supply bank details.
If you have a social worker, some councils will fund the training, so do ask them about this.
After graduation, ongoing online support is available for £60 per year, or a monthly fee of £6. An annual assessment will also be conducted to ensure your assistance dog continues to meet the required standards.
5. Insurance: It is mandatory for all members to ensure that their dog carries current and up-to-date public liability and health insurance. This protects both you and your assistance dog in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
6. Exclusive Training: To ensure the best outcomes for all members, we request that you do not train with any other assistance dog organisation or trainer, online or offline, while under the partnership with Infinity Dogs CIC. This helps prioritise those in need, avoid trainer hopping, and maintain a safe space for everyone involved.
7. Timetabled Sessions: Our training sessions are scheduled in advance. In the event of your illness or personal circumstances, we understand that extreme cases may require flexibility. The need to defer to another intake can be discussed on an individual basis, taking into consideration the best interest of both you and your assistance dog.
8. Expenses: As a member, you are responsible for any travel, food, and expenses associated with days out for yourself, your party, family, and your dog.
9. Communication: Prompt communication is crucial for a successful partnership. Please inform us promptly of any behaviour or health concerns that may arise during the training period.
10. Training Hours: Please note that each stage assessment cannot be taken until the required training hours with Infinity Dogs CIC have been completed.
11. Medical Conditions: If you or your dog have any medical conditions that may require attention during the training period, please inform us so that we can provide appropriate support.
12. Contract Amendments: Infinity Dogs CIC reserves the right to make changes to the terms of membership at any time. We will notify you of any amendments.
13. Termination of Partnership: If you choose to leave the program before the end of the training process or decide not to continue paying for membership, you will lose validation from Infinity Dogs CIC. We will be unable to provide further support or any supporting documentation. You may choose to keep any branded jackets or lead sleeves that are no longer required, but we kindly request that you do not use any gear with the Infinity Dogs CIC logo if you continue to work your dog as an assistance dog. Alternatively, we would appreciate donations of any branded jackets or lead sleeves that are no longer required, to create a hardship supply.

To proceed with membership, you must acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions of membership, including the payment details mentioned above. Receipt of payment confirms that the owner is happy to comply with the terms and conditions.
